VEIDEC Festival is one of the biggest Drag Racing events in Europe - if not the biggest! The event constistutes the third round of the FIA Europen Drag Racing Championship and UEM Drag Bike Championship, gathering close to 350 of the best teams from all over Europe to compete over four days at Mantorp Park (Sweden). 2008 will be the 35th consecutive time the event is held at Mantorp Park, although for 25 of those years the event was called Sko Uno Drag Festival. The event changed its name to VEIDEC Festival in 2003 as a new event sponsor entered, VEIDEC.

16 classes will participate at Mantorp, from Junior Dragsters to Comp in Nordic Drag Racing Series (NDRS). In addition will the FIA classes Top Fuel,Top Methanol Funny Car, Pro Stock, Top Methanol Dragster and Pro Mod compete for vital European Championship points at Mantorp Park. The same goes for UEM Bike Classes Super Twin, Pro Stock Bike and Top Fuel Bike.
